Officially dropping the first track from sophomore album: hopeless fountain kingdom, during the chart show hosted by Brooke Reese on Beats 1 – earlier today, Ashley Frangipane -known professionally as electropop entrant Halsey– is back.
The follow-up to her Billboard-topping debut: Badlands, (which spawned instant streaming hits: Colors, Roman Holiday and New Americana), the synth-pop artist’s second full-length recording is as of this week available for digital pre-order on iTunes in Deluxe and Non-Deluxe flavours.
Pre-ordering the Deluxe version of the forthcoming album today will see you receive new release: Now Or Never, alongside three additional tracks (the names of which are not yet known) upon the album’s official release, later this year …

Originally peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, hopeless fountain kingdom will have to do well in terms of both streams and sales in order to beat the initial success of Halsey’s debut LP: Badlands, which achieved “1.17 million equivalent album units“ in the U.S. and 504,000 in physical sales, the publication notes citing figures from Nielsen Music.
Look out for the full record dropping – June 2.
