Here’s What’s Moving in #NEWMUSIC — This Weekend [LISTEN]

It’s been a wall-to-wall week full of new music releases … and just ahead of THEHOTLIST 43 becoming available to stream on Apple Music, we’re about to run down the most notable of them …

Buckle up!

Declan McKenna

Showing what he had to offer with the release of 2016 EPs: Stains and Liar, Hertfordshire’s Declan McKenna -alt’s newest mover- this Friday returns to unchain the third track from his upcoming debut LP: What Do You Think About the Car?

Following on from both Brazil and the recording’s title track getting their iTunes debut last month, you can now listen to McKenna’s bouncy new single: Humongous – above.

London Grammar

Almost needing no introduction at this point, neo-progressive collective London Grammar have been responsible for some of the most vocally memorable releases over the past several years … and their latest is no exception.

Hell to the Liars arrives as the most-recent track to get its streaming release from the band’s second studio recording: Truth is a Beautiful Thing, which is seeing its official debut – today.

SG Lewis

21-year-old electro producer SG Lewis also returns this weekend to share an exclusive collaboration with TOULOUSE.

Receiving notable on-air support from Beats 1 for single: Holding Back (feat. Gallant) at the back end of last year, Lewis rounded out 2016 by sharing second EP: Yours.

Times We Had -released Friday- marks just the latest jam from the young producer.

Oh Wonder

Relatively new faces to the alternative scene, and expected to drop their second full-length recording: UltraLife – next month, London-based alt-pop duo Oh Wonder -a collaboration between Josephine Gucht and Anthony West– have released a fifth single from their forthcoming, 12-track offering.

High on Humans is both a fun-loving and upbeat release from the synth-pop duo that features sporadicly-placed robotic vocals.

The new track arrives ahead of the group’s sophomore album—now expected to see its release, on July 14.

Closing out this week’s most notable releases — is Litany.
