2017 is proving to be a remarkable year for books,” the iBooks editors note. “Dive into the novels we couldn’t put down, the thrillers with killer twists, some under-the-radar picks you may have missed and incredible real-life tales.”

Revealed on Sunday by way of a mailblast sent out to iOS readers, among the iBooks Editors’ picks for The Best Books of 2017 (So Far): J.P. Delaney’s The Girl Before, Dragon’s Green by Scarlett Thomas and Gail Honeyman’s Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine.

Other anticipated books that you may want to check out and that are currently making a splash on the pre-order front: The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye by David Lagercrantz, How to Stop Time by Matt Haig and Exile by James Swallow.

Meanwhile, Apple’s FREE ’Book of the Week’ is Taran Matharu’s The Novicewhich is described as a superbly immersive opening to the author’s Summoner fantasy trilogy.
