First seeing its launch on the App Store back in 2010, Terry Cavanagh’s popular indie platformer VVVVVV is down from its regular price of $2.99 – this Sunday.
Winner of Indiecade’s award for ‘Most Fun and Compelling Game’, and now available for less than $1, the retro-inspired and rather unconventially-named VVVVVV has become somewhat of an App Store favourite over the last 7 years – winning 4-5 star ratings from app critics across the board for its endearing arcade visuals, and fun-filled gameplay.
Marking only the second time that the game has dropped in price since the latter end of 2014, according to AppShopper, it is not yet clear when the game will return to its regular $3 asking.
Get it today for $0.99.
It appears the game has since returned to its regular price, with the increase still propagating in some regions.
