Indie Arkanoid-Style Platformer ‘Equilibrium 3D’ for Mac Drops To $3.99

Indie Arkanoid-Style Platformer ‘Equilibrium 3D’ for Mac Drops To $3.99

Citing “absolutely unique gameplay,” Equilibrium 3D is an indie game designed for Mac that sits somewhere between Taito’s Arkanoid … and a first-person puzzle/platformer.

“The unique aspect of the game is that not all of the bricks can be destroyed with the ball. Some of them have to be detonated from inside,” Yuriy Georgiev, the game’s developer, explains.

“That’s where the FPS part starts. When you hit such brick with the ball you are transformed inside it and you have to find the detonator. Spawn cubes with your special plasma gun, climb on them and reach the detonator to activate it,” Georgiev adds.

Promising attractive levels, cool powerups and “amazing” graphic effects, plus full 3D sound that is encapsulated in an truly old-school soundtrack, Equilibrium 3D currently rocks a 4-star rating from players … and is now just $3.99.
