The artist formerly known as Prince isn’t the only big name returning to streaming services, this month.
Sending out a mailshot to Apple Music subscribers on Tuesday, the company suggested listeners “Go Crazy” at the thought of Prince‘s genre-pushing back catalog finally becoming available to stream on the service, as it invited everyone to experience both classic albums and ‘brilliant excursions’ from the musical icon’s glistening repertoire – for themselves.
“Check out handpicked playlists dedicated to one of pop music’s most visionary artists,” Apple said.

But Prince isn’t the only notable artist returning to streaming – this week.
That’s because American rock band and self-confessed new wavers, Blondie, also dropped a surprise new single on Friday.
Arriving just ahead of Pollinator –the group’s eleventh studio offering (due out May 5)– the bouncy-sounding Fun marks just the first release from the recording expected to feature input from the likes of Sia, Joan Jett, Laurie Anderson, Charlie XCX, Johnny Marr and Blood Orange‘s Dev Hynes, Billboard says.
Pre-Order on iTunes.
Other notable releases making their way to streaming services this month, include: Steve James’ collaboration with Lights: Warrior, new Future Islands track: Ran –the first from upcoming album, The Far Field– and Ibeyi’s Lost in My Mind.
