Dirty Dancing Turns 30: Special “Collector’s Edition” Hits iTunes

Eleanor Bergstein’s 80s-fuelled drama Dirty Dancing is turning 30 – and to celebrate, Apple is this week offering up a special digital ‘Collector’s Edition’ of the beloved music-inspired film to iTunes viewers.

The summer of 1963 innocent 17-year-old Baby (Jennifer Grey) vacations with her parents at a Catskill’s resort. One evening she is drawn to the staff quarters by stirring music. There she meets Johnny, the hotel dance instructor, who is as experienced as Baby is naive. Baby soon becomes Johnny’s pupil in dance and love.

Downloading the 30th anniversary edition of the romanic drama on iTunes today will see you receive access to over 6 hours of exclusive iTunes Extras, including; a “Happy Birthday” salute with celebrity fans, interviews with the one and only Patrick Swayze, outtakes, deleted/alternate/extended scenes, cast interviews … and more.

Own it Today for £5.99 HD.
