Apple will officially begin taking pre-orders for both the iPhone SE and the 9.7-inch iPad Pro – later today, and as usual the company has in the last hour taken its entire online store offline in preparation.
Pre-orders for each of Apple’s newly announced devices are set to go live in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the UK, US Virgin Islands, and the United States – on Thursday, although an exact start time from which the company will begin to accept these orders is yet to be shared.
Those who are in the market for either of Apple’s products set to go on sale today are advised to download the official Apple Store app ahead of time, as it will likely allow for the placing of orders faster – than going through Apple’s official website.
If you are looking for an even further advantage in the pre-ordering process, logging-in to your Apple Online account via this page, and then opting to activate “One-Click Purchasing,” may also help in when it comes to the pre-order rush — just make sure to turn it off again once you have successfully placed your order.
Pricing for the iPhone SE starts at $399.
Meanwhile, Apple’s smaller iPad Pro will be available from $599.
On your marks … Get set. Go!!!!
