Apple Seeds OS X 10.11.3 (15D13b) to Developers and Testers

Just hours after the developer (and public) seeding of iOS 9.2.1 (Beta 2), Apple has tonight also seeded the second beta of OS X 10.11.3 – an expected minor update designed for those running the firm’s latest desktop OS, El Capitan – to developers for testing.

As with the public iOS beta update that dropped at the beginning of this week, little information is available on the changes the may have been included in the software – at this time.


“The first beta of OS X 10.11.3 did not include any noticeable outward-facing changes, suggesting [this] update will focus on security enhancements, performance improvements, and bug fixes to address issues that have been discovered since the release of OS X 10.11.2,” notes Clover.

The new update can be downloaded by heading to the Mac App Store‘s “Updates” tab for those who may already be running a previous version of the OS X El Capitan Beta, with those developers and public testers who are yet to install the software able to download tonight’s build from either or
