Apple has tonight seeded the second beta of iOS 9 to developers – for testing.
The software update which is expected to see its public release, later this year, is set to bring with it a number of improvements and enhancements to Apple’s mobile OS – including the introduction of split-screen multitasking and various enhancements to Spotlight, Maps, and Search – as the company aims to improve the “proactivity” of the software.
Tonight’s build of the software (13A4280e) is available to download directly from the Dev Center, or over-the-air, for those developers who already have a previous version of iOS 9 installed on their iOS device(s).
Apple is also expected to make the software available to members of the Public iOS Beta Program – starting this July.
