Apple Further Details Built-In Apps On Apple Watch [IMAGE]

In addition to adding each model of the Apple Watch to its online store, (with a ship date of “currently unavailable,”) Apple earlier this week published a few new sections to its mini-site for the wearable, one of which now details the apps set to feature on the Apple Watch by default.

Until up today, the company had revealed that the wrist wearable would come with the following apps pre-installed: Calendar, Maps, Passbook, Music, Remote, Remote Camera, Stopwatch, Timer, Alarm, World Clock, Stocks, Weather, Photos, Siri and Settings.

Thanks to Apple’s new online section, though, we now have even more detail on the default apps set to be installed on Apple Watch, including some of the brand new ones like: Activity and Workout.

Apple Watch is ideal for quick looks and fast interactions. The apps it comes with have been designed to take advantage of that. There are apps you’re familiar with — like Mail, Messages, and Maps — that work in all‑new ways.

Apps that become even more convenient on the wrist, like Siri, Music, and Passbook. And completely new apps, like Activity, Workout, and Camera Remote, which turns Apple Watch into a viewfinder for the iSight camera on your iPhone.

Built-in Apps

Here’s a full list of the apps set to be come as standard with Apple Watch, complete with further details on their function and purpose.
